Thanks for your interest in our Online Directory Speaker Services. Speaker Services has been on the internet since 1994 bringing speakers and authors together with audiences.

Speakers Services is used as a resource for program directors and meeting planners who book speakers, authors and entertainers. The Directory serves as an instant reference for thousands of decision-making personnel—one stop shopping. Currently we are receiving between 6,000-8,000 visits a month and growing. Our speakers and authors are getting calls and booking engagements.

You may place a 450-500 word photo listing (includes your photo, telephone and fax number, email address and link to your website and/or your video demo website) in the Speakers for Free or Fee or Authors' Speak section of our directory. Meeting planners and programs chairs contact you directly and you are responsible for booking your own engagements. We post listings on a monthly basis.

Please submit your listing no later than the 15th of each month for inclusion in the following month.

We understand the importance of marketing our website so that you will get results. We have launched an on-going advertising campaign which includes online and print advertising, links to related industry professionals and associations, posting on the top search engines and indexes and exhibiting at trade shows. This a great opportunity for you to let millions of meeting planners, human resource and program directors know about your services in hundreds of countries.

WHAT IS SPEAKER SERVICES?
It is a online Directory of speakers for free and fee and authors marketed to meeting & event planners and radio talk show producers. When an organization, business or an individual has a need for a speaker/author on your topic or related services they can find you quickly and easily at http://speakerservices.com. We give you an 450-500-word write-up which includes your photo, and telephone number, FAX, e-mail and website address (with a link) and video demo website address (with a link).

WHO SHOULD SIGN UP FOR SPEAKERS SERVICES DIRECTORY?
Authors, therapists, financial planners, health practitioners, lawyers, entrepreneurs, physicians, humorists, clergy, actors, educators, trainers, managers, corporate executives, authors, consultants or any professional interested in increasing their business base.

WHO WILL SEE MY LISTING?
Thousands of corporate personnel, program and human resource directors and meeting planners who book speakers and/or hire consultants and authors for corporations, trade and professional associations, colleges, schools, radio and TV talk shows, singles groups, libraries, bookstores, schools, churches and synagogues, women's groups, hospitals, health centers, civic groups, chambers of commerce, and service groups.  We e-mail about 7,000 event coordinators every month.

CAN I CHARGE A FEE FOR SPEAKING IN THE SPEAKERS FOR FREE SECTION?
No. But you can attract clients, promote your seminar, product, book or tapes through your speaking appearances.

HOW MANY CALLS CAN I EXPECT?
Anywhere from 3 to 5 calls per month.

DO I HAVE TO ACCEPT EVERY SPEAKING ENGAGEMENT?
No. You should screen the organizations and determine if the speaking engagement is right for you. If you are asked to travel a distance you may ask for transportation fees. If you have to cancel an engagement please give the program director plenty of notice and check in the Directory for a replacement. Please do not send anyone who is not listed in the Directory.

WHO QUALIFIES FOR THE SPEAKERS FOR FEE SECTION?
To qualify for this section it is necessary for you to have an audio or video demo, professional photos, a press kit and a fee schedule and letters of recommendations.
