Psychotherapist helps you recapture the exuberance and freedom you were born with as you rediscover and reconnect with your “Magnificent Self.”
Remember that carefree exuberance you felt as a kid when you rode your bike? What happened to it? What happened to your bike? Wouldn’t you love to get back that glorious feeling of being who you really are instead of settling for that someone you’ve become? Wouldn’t you love to experience that freedom and excitement again ? instead of feeling pushed aside and held down? Wouldn’t you like to get back in touch with the sense of magnificence you were born with?

Psychotherapist Judi Lirman’s energetic, interactive talks help you do just that. “I’m here for you,” says Judi, who’s known for her warm and caring style. “My expertise is transitioning you back to your Magnificent Self, and I’ll help you find that original ‘you.'” Judi’s nurturing presentations help you deal with a wide range of everyday challenges and remind you that you deserve to be treated with respect and kindness ? just for being who you are! Each talk is customized to the needs of your group, and covers any areas that are causing worry and discomfort or that aren’t working well.

“Everyone is born magnificent, but somehow, through the years, we lose track of that,” says Judi. “Life happens, circumstances beyond our control take place, people are not supportive and sometimes they’re even abusive and slowly we lose track of who we really are.” You’ll leave Judi’s talks with new insights and perspectives that help you disarm pain and move forward. Don’t be surprised if you recapture that familiar, carefree feeling you had as a child, when you couldn’t wait to ride your bike to your best friend’s house so the two of you could head out to explore the world!

Bullying Isn’t What It Used to Be

Are you or someone you know being bullied? This talk explores all aspects of bullying and shows how to prevent it. Bullying has always been a part of life ? but the world has changed, and it isn’t what it used to be. Today, it’s much more widespread, often much colder, and it’s done by both kids and adults to other kids and adults. This talk helps listeners deal with bullying they experienced as children and explores how bullying has changed and what it looks like today. The audience is empowered by “take action” speech and learns how to handle the Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) often associated with bullying and the damage left behind.

Transitions: Silver Linings in a World of Change

Transitions and change are a normal part of life, and the generations who came before us had rites of passage to guide them through these challenges. These rites have mostly fallen by the wayside, but this talk will help you welcome transitions and use them for growth. You’ll learn how to build your self-esteem and live more fully in a world that is changing more quickly than ever before.

Hey Life, Slow Down a Minute

Are you overwhelmed? Exhausted by trying to have it all and be it all? Many people judge themselves by TV programs like “Father Knows Best” and “The Brady Bunch,” but since no one can solve every problem in 30 minutes minus commercials, people see themselves as failures. This talk gently guides the audience into techniques that help them slow down, breathe, listen and see the world, and hear their inner voice with its wisdom. You’ll leave with a new perspective and with eagerness to lead a healthier, more balanced and productive life.

Getting Back to the Magnificence of Me

Everyone is born magnificent, but somehow, through the years, we lose track of that. Life happens, circumstances beyond our control take place, people are not supportive ? and sometimes are even downright abusive. This talk deals with family and work dynamics that may have thrown barriers in your way. You’ll leave with the belief that you deserve to be treated well, and with respect and kindness, just for being who you are. You’ll learn how to take care of yourself and recover the sense of power and magnificence you were born with.
